There are many preparations that take place for prom, but among all of them the one that seems to be most important to girls is picking out their dress.

Prom is one of the most memorable nights in a girl’s life, so obviously she is going to want to look her best. Everything has to be perfect. Her hair, her make-up, and of course, her dress.

Some girls start looking for a prom dress during summer/beginning of the school year, while others wait a couple months or so before prom to pick out a dress.

“I started looking probably in December,” junior Tempest Harrison said.

“The first time I started looking was maybe the start of October,” junior Regan LaTessa said, “but now I think I’ve found one that I like and I think I’m going to get it.”

“I started looking a few weeks ago,” senior Madelynn Knisley said.

As you can see, girls start looking for dresses at different times of the year, but picking out their dress is still an important preparation that takes place in order to make prom memorable.
