“I love working at Baldwin City Market and I love all the people I work with. I make pizzas, cook and prep chickens, and keep shelf’s stocked and as of right now I work two to three nights a week. The BCM is like a big family and I have been fortunate to be a part of the family for over a year. One reason I love my job is because of the customers; I hear quite interesting stories from the people in our community. Most of the staff I work with are high school kids and my managers. The biggest reason I love my job is because of all the memories I have made like cucumber wars in the produce freezer and chucking cans into the dumpster. Don’t even get me started on the BCM version of cornhole with a trash can and boxes of expired pre-cooked bacon on break.”
