For BHS senior Kylee Bremer playing college softball has always been her dream since she was a little girl. She is proud to announce that she will be playing softball at Baker University next year.

For Bremer finding a college close to home is a big win.

“I chose to go to Baker because I really like living in a small town. Baldwin is a place where everyone knows everybody and when times get tough we all come together and support each other,” Bremer said.

Bremer is also looking to accomplish a lot a Baker.

“Fulfilling my childhood dream about playing softball in college is already coming true, but i would like to pursue a job as an athletic trainer for other athletes,” Bremer said.

High school softball has given Bremer tons of great memories she will remember for a really long time.

“Oh my gosh, Kassidie Burton’s laugh was a great memory it makes me smile when I think about it. Also just all of us messing around in the dugouts. Coach Scoby also cracked jokes a lot while we were in the batting cages,” she said.

Bremer also has advice for underclassmen about getting so many college offers.

“Don’t wait until your last year to finally start looking, and don’t wait for the colleges to come to you. Also, just enjoy your days in high school they fly by way too fast,” she said.
