Raeanna Duncan was known for her voice and the way she sang the national anthem when she attended Baldwin High School. She is now in her sophomore year in college and is continuing to grow in her vocal career.

  • “I graduated in 2014.”

What college are you attending?

  • “I attend Drury University in Springfield, MO.”

What are you majoring in?

  • “Majoring in Music Therapy.”

Do you like college?

  • “I love college, it is more than I expected. I’ve met a lot of people and have made friends for life!

Have you always known you wanted a career in singing?

  • “I’ve always known I have wanted a career where I could use music as a way of helping people and it just so happens God gave me a voice to help me achieve that dream.”

Have you performed for an audience?

  • “I have performed many times between high school talent shows to coffee houses around Springfield.”

You entered the contest to sing the national anthem at Country Stampede, have you ever done anything like that before?

  • “I have never entered a contest like that before, I just wanted to see if it was capable of doing. Although I didn’t make it, I’d definitely try again!”

Do you know what you plan to do after college?

  • “I plan to hopefully move back around the Kansas City area and work as a music therapist somewhere!”
