Dogs are a favorite at BHS

There are many of students at Baldwin High School that own a variety of pets. A survey was given to random 50 BHS students. The animals on the survey varied from cats to cows. Owning a pet means putting their needs first.

Having a pet is not all for fun, it takes time and responsibility.

“When I work with my 4-H steers I have to do it no matter what, even if it’s really hot outside,” sophomore Carter Wintermantel said. “You have to organize your time so you can complete all of the responsibilities.”

There are benefits of having pets.

“My dog is my best friend. He wakes me up in the morning,” sophomore Tanner Wilson said.

The most popular pet at BHS is a dog and the least is a hermit crab.
