There are many different types of music. No matter what new great songs come out though, my favorite kind of music is still 70/80’s rock. Maybe it is because I hang around my parents too much and they are stuck in the eighties. I love the eighties in general though. I love the style, movies, and best of all, the music.

Most kids my age either like pop, or country. Do not get me wrong, I like both of them. I would just way rather be listening to “Old Time Rock and Roll”. I live in the country and nowadays a lot of people love to be country. Many people dress country, a lot of people act country, a lot of people say the word country and a lot of people listen to country music. People in Baldwin especially. I love country music too but rock n’ roll would probably slightly win over country. There is just something about rock n’ roll that I love.

I just love the sound of it. Its loud and it has romance and it just really represents the 70’s and 80’s decades. I have to say that most of the songs on my iPod are 70/80,s rock. I do not know all of the new songs. They are usually popular for a month before I even hear about them. I do not know all of the famous new artist or all of the songs that they sing very well. I am not REALLY knowledgeable on old time music but I am sure I could tell you more about it than I could about music today. Like I said, I live in the country on a farm and everybody in my family except my older brother, love 70/80’s rock.

I always have loved 70/80’s rock music, and I probably always will.
