People live in all kinds of places, city and country. I enjoy living in the country more than being in the city. I probably could not handle living in the city for very long because I am not used to being in such a confined area such as the city. I have lived in the same house on the same farm right outside of Baldwin my whole life.

Living in the country is a lot of fun. There is way more freedom and it is more peaceful. You have a lot more space to live on so you end up calling the people who live miles away from you, your neighbors. I think living in the country is healthy because you have to organize your time better for events that happen in town. People in the country can be really close with their neighbors even though you might not think so. Sometimes you run out of something and the closest store is nine miles away. My families closest grocery store is my grandmas house which is about a quarter of a mile away.

During the winter, you do not even have to travel very far to go sledding because for most people in the country, pasture surrounds them. In the summer, there are ponds all around you to go fishing. I have about four different ponds that are within a mile radius from my house. I live on a farm so I have a lot more advantages though. In the city, you are not allowed to have a lot of loud aniamls outside but in the country you could have a whole pen of cattle in your backyard and you would not get in trouble. You can also be a lot louder in the country because, like I said, your closest neighbors can be a half of a mile or more away.

Even though it might be an inconvenience living in the country because you are farther away from everything. I still love it.
