At certain points during the school year, students are required to use technology and the internet to help with learning. Some think that technology is a distraction, and shouldn’t be used in the classroom. Many think that it is a good thing and helps with learning.

I believe that technology in the classroom is both a distraction and a helpful tool in learning. It helps with learning by assisting students in their tasks. If students need to do research for a debate or presentation, the internet can be very useful.

Having the internet at their disposal can also cause students to get off track. They would be tempted to check on their social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter, or play games on the internet.
