Yearbook class allows students to get involved in school activities and clubs to produce a product. A product that people will look back on for many years later on.

Adviser Kit Harris teaches yearbook. This class gets students involved in everyday high school happenings. It also has a strong result producing the school yearbook for the student body.

Students in the class range from sophomores to seniors.

“This class has fun kids that work hard,” adviser Kit Harris said. “It allows them to do something for the school but is also fun to do.”

Yearbook students work on many different skills and piece together different assignments to one great outcome.

“Making the yearbook is a fun project to do because everyone has to contribute.” Harris said. “With everyone contributing we are able to put together a good yearbook for the student body to have.”

Many BHS students enjoy being able to create something memorable.

“I really enjoy yearbook because it is a great group of kids and is something cool to be a part of,” junior Hayden Burkhart said.

Each student is assigned to certain parts of the yearbook that they are designated to work on throughout the semester.

“My favorite assignment was the Stand Up to Cancer page.” Burkhart said. “I am a part of that club and it is pretty special to be involved in something like that.”

Yearbooks come out late July, but until then the class will be piecing it together.

“The yearbook is going well, so far so good,” Burkhart said.
