Dark?

Since the beginning of time it seems like the dark won’t go away. When the sun goes down, dark. When you walk into a cave, dark. When you turn out the lights, dark.

Why is that?

Well, Science teacher Scott Crenshaw has an explanation of the situation.

“It was so dark there was a total absence of light energy, much like antimatter. The black hole, it was horrifying,” he said.

With Crenshaw’s input it seems like everyone should be as scared of the dark as him. He is clearly the manliest man in the whole school and is not afraid of anything. But when the dark makes him scared I would take precautions.

Other resources have stated that the dark seems to dissipate and clear away around 6:54 A.M every morning. It then returns around 6:11 P.M. so this gives the average Kansan a good 11 hours of sunlight before the monstrous dark returns.

Some tips and tricks to help you survive the dark are to always carry a flashlight to burn a hole in the protective layer of the darkness. Or if the dark is all around you one thing to protect yourself if to cuddle up in a blanket. They are the unsung fortresses to save you from the fears of the dark.

The dark is out there, but know that the light will always prevail.
