Justice McWilliams joins the Navy
Justice McWilliams has big plans after high school. McWilliams has been involved in BHS the wrestling team, and the purple, silver and concert choir.
“I have always liked wrestling, but my older brother Jack encouraged me to play for BHS,” McWilliams said. “I am going to miss wrestling with my friends and teammates, I have made wonderful memories.”
Although McWilliams is leaving BHS, she has big plans of joining the the Navy as a hospital corpsman for five years.
“I am excited to help those who have served for our country,” McWilliams said. “I will miss my friends and family so much, but I am excited for what the future holds. My brother Jack inspired me to join the Navy, he is in the marines.”
After serving, McWilliams wants to work at the Lawrence Fire Department as a firefighter. While being apart of BHS, McWilliams has made a lasting impression on so many students, coaches and teachers.
“Justice has always been a joy to have in my class,” Social studies teacher Jeff Cullens said. “She is very clever and creative.”
Ebi Gerrard expresses how much she will miss McWilliams after graduation.
“Justice is my best friend, and I will miss hanging out with her all the time,” Gerrard said. “She is kind, caring and always makes me laugh. I am excited to see her excel in the future.”
