Five of the Baldwin Bulldog football players have earned some type of post-season honors. Whether that is all league or all state they are both still very impressive. 

“It feels good receiving postseason honor,” junior star Brett Davidson said. “It means a lot getting recognition and knowing my hard work is starting to pay off.

The players have worked extremely hard for this being in the gym and on the field day in and out during the Summer.

The players that received this award include the following senior linebackers Jack Harvey and Dylan Williams receiving Honorable Mention All-League linebacker. 

Junior star linemen Brett Davidson and Jake Van Horn also are accepting the awards for league honorable mention OL for Van Horn and second-team all-league OL for Davidson. 

As well as second team all DL for Van Horn and Honorable Mention DL for Davidson.

“I’m excited for next year,” Davidson said. “For me being able to go out there and put that uniform on means a lot to me more, representing our school and our community.”

But there is still one more player who received an award first-year player, junior wide receiver Ryder Nigh receiving all-league honorable mention wide receiver.

This is a big improvement for the Bulldog’s football program showing growth and improvement from the past years. 

“I think we took positive strides in that we had younger guys step up into spots on varsity,” Davidson said. “Even though they may not have been ready, they were able to help us out.”
