Band is playing it up for all sports this school year

You’ve heard all of the music, but never like this. The Bulldog Band will be playing for most sports this school year. It will be playing for the soccer teams, volleyball, football, cross country, wrestling, the track teams, and the basketball teams.

It will be playing its best for the Bulldogs this year. It will play for all fall sports and most spring, with new and classic songs.

Still marching in the Maple Leaf Festival parade, and even more than last year.

“We’ve added a concert in October,”  Band director Will Cooper said.

Cooper even has big plans for the band this school year.

“We plan to represent our school well, represent our community well,”  Cooper said. “Carry on a great at BHS tradition, play great and have fun.”

Though senior and Drum Major Genesis Barwick enjoys band so much that nothing will stop her from loving it.

“It’s a lot of fun,”  Barwick said. “We get to sometimes go on cool trips like my freshman year we went to Disney World. We get to perform for our community it a lot of fun.”

While performing the Band plays a variety of music.

“I feel that we have a good collection of songs,”  Barwick said. “That range from classic rock and modern day hits.”

Most band members are happy about playing for so many sports this year.
