Harris talks about big plans for upcoming wrestling season

On Nov 17, BHS wrestling starts up and head coach Kit Harris is prepared for what is to come. Last year the Bulldogs went 10-0 in duals, 6 state qualifiers, and won their third straight Frontier League championship.

Q: Do you feel like that this will be a successful season for the upcoming wrestling season?

  • A: I think that this could be one of our best years. This is a very strong team with a lot of wrestlers.

Q: Do you think your team will be a top contender for state?

  • A: We can be, we will see how much we improve. If we are healthy and wrestling well, then I think we can do it.

Q: Do you think that you will have enough  wrestlers to fill up all of the varsity spots?

  • A: Yeah, we will fill our weight classes. The tough part is getting some guys separated and we will see how that plays out.

Q: Who do you think will be your toughest opponent?

  • A: League wise Spring Hill is a tough opponent. In regionals and state i’m not sure, we will just see how we do come February.
