The BHS tennis season is just coming to an end. There have been many accomplishments from many different players.The team is led by coach Jim Ashcraft

The team had a lot of wins this season.

“As a team we had 163 wins on the season, by far the most we’ve had in the past 8 years,” Ashcraft said.

The tennis team has also had some people make it to regionals.

“3 players/teams made it to the 3rd round of regionals for the first time since I’ve been here,” Ashcraft said.

Senior Talan Torrez is a star of the tennis team and has been playing for a while.

“I started playing tennis my sophomore year and have only played it in season for the past three years,” Torrez said.

Torrez has won some tournaments this year ending his senior season with a bang.

“My biggest accomplishment was winning Frontier League Singles #2 at Bonner Springs my senior year,” Torrez said.
