Golf season has started up and seniors Caleb Carr and Caden Englert are excited for the season.

Englert plays golf everyday when he can.

“I try to get out and play everyday when I don’t have basketball practice and if the weather is dry,” Englert said. 

Englert has really enjoyed his time playing golf and started golfing 3 years ago.

“I started playing golf in October of 2020 and have really enjoyed it since,” Englert said.

Now, Carr is one of the newer golfers on the team. He has just started playing golf recently.

“I started playing golf this summer and when it’s warm I try to play three times a week,” Carr said.

There are many reasons why people start playing golf.

“I started playing golf because I didn’t enjoy doing track and field and thought golf would be more fun,” Carr said.

The new golf team and all of the new and returning members are hoping for the best this season.
