The boys soccer team, with a 8-4 record, have discovered the secret that will make them one of the hardest teams to beat in the league.

“We owe all of the success we’ve encountered this year to our team chemistry,” Senior forward Jacob Bailey said. “This team is special because we are able to put aside our egos in order to progress through the year, we are improving both our communication and teamwork, which should make us a difficult team to play and beat later in the season,”

The boys have discovered this season that to accomplish their victories, they must work together and stay positive. The teammates build each other up, not tear each other down.

“Soccer is a very team oriented sport and if your team isn’t playing as a whole, it can affect the outcome of the game,” sophomore goalkeeper Tanner O’Connor said. “Through playing we have all learned how to be good teammates and stay positive no matter the outcome,”

Their positive personalities and uplifting spirit shows in their daily lives and is seen by all those around them.

“I will most likely continue to manage soccer because of the group of guys that play. They are some of the funniest, yet most respectful guys I have ever met,” sophomore manager Kya Ross said.
