This is the fresh start of a new year for the tennis girls team with new members such as Gracelyn Hinderliter, Kayla Mountain, Adelynn Flory, Danielle Bennett, Eisabella Quilimaco and Chiara Moretti. Everyone is ready for the year and so are coaches Jamie Inzer and Chad Scoby.
“I am really excited to see how much the team improves through the year.,” Inzer said. “The majority of our girls on the team have only been playing tennis for a year or two and they are already dominating the jv matches as well as fighting for some varsity spots.” Inzer said.
Seniors McKinley Markley and Celeste Wallis are returning this year, making varsity and excited to be playing.
“I am also looking forward to watching our returning seniors play this year because they make an amazing doubles team together and it is fun watching them dominate the net,” said Inzer
This season the tennis player plan on doing great just like any other year. They also have goals set for themselves, but most importantly the coaches have goals set for the team and the season.
“As always I want the girls to learn to have fun playing a sport they can continue to play through their whole life and not just for the four years in high school,”Inzer said “We also have a team goal to improve our footwork and to be great teammates with one another.”
