The Baldwin basketball team won the Baldwin Invitational Tournament (BIT) with an intense win over Bonner Springs. They won the game 40-37 in overtime. Baldwin finally won the championship game after four straight years of being runner-ups.

In the opening round of the BIT Baldwin boys played Bishop Ward and on 53-50. Baldwin’s leading scorer were brothers Christian and Caleb Gaylord who both scored 12 points.

In the second round of the BIT Baldwin boys advanced to the finals after a convincing win over Anderson County 57-43. Baldwin’s leading scorer was Caleb Gaylord who scored 19 points.

In the Finals the Baldwin Basketball team played Bonner Springs and won 40-37. The leading scorer for the team was Tim Craig with nine points.
