“We have to get physical and work hard we have to want to win and have some heart,” Cornell Brown said.

The Pirates have easily won their first three district playoff games against Atchison 38-6, Sumner Academy 48-13, and Bishop Ward 41-6.

“To win we will need to play solid defense, they have speed but it’s nothing we can’t handle, we must be offensively, sound limit our mistakes and be physical,” Colton Stark said.

The return of Junior Chad Berg helped the Bulldog to their 31-14 win over Spring Hill in the first round of the playoffs.

“Chad is a great player, throwing him back into the mix strengthens the rushing and passing game. His speed spreads out the field and allows chances for big plays to happen,” Brown said.
