“I have been showing cows for 7 years. I started showing when I was 8 years old. Showing livestock isn’t just a hobby—it’s a way of life. It’s made up of early mornings, late nights, and a deep bond with animals that somehow understand you better than most people. The wins are unforgettable, not just for the recognition, but for the hard work behind them. The setbacks can be tough, but they build resilience. What makes it all worth it, though, are the people—the friendships formed in the barns, the shared experiences, and the community that truly understands the journey. I have had the opportunity to meet some of my best friends from all across the country at these shows. I can truly say I would not be where I am today without it. I have shown 20+ cows in total, and I owned all of them, but at the moment I own 4 cows.”
