“This is my 4th year of teaching, second year at Baldwin.“
What is your favorite part of teaching?
“My favorite part of teaching is seeing students pride in the recipes they make.”
What is your least favorite part of teaching?
“My least favorite part of teaching (culinary specifically) is grocery shopping.”
How do you plan on what to cook for each class?
“I plan what we cook based off of the state standards for each class. I look at the different cooking methods and skills students are supposed to learn and find recipes that fit those goals.”
What do you do outside of teaching?
“Outside of teaching, I love going on hikes with my husband, Corben, and dog, Appa. I also love reading, painting, and experimenting with different baking/pastry recipes in the kitchen!”
