“I moved to Baldwin City during this last summer from Holton, Kansas. Coming to Baldwin gave me many new friends and activities. I’ve been playing the trombone in band for seven years and hope to continue throughout college. Wednesday mornings I go to FCS meetings in the BHS gymnasium. I also want to be a part of the Chess Club at BHS. At Holton, we had block scheduling which is different from Baldwin. Instead of going to class for an hour and a half each, I like now only going to class for forty-eight minutes. The shorter time keeps me more concentrated. I enjoy BHS really well and everyone’s so nice. I also enjoy living in Baldwin because it’s close to a big city, so there is more to do.”
