“Wrestling is a one on one sport to determine, in my opinion, who is the better man. I really like wrestling because it’s just you out there and whether you win or lose depends solely on you. I started wrestling around fifth grade, but didn’t really get into it until I was in 8th grade. I worked hard all summer and when the season of my freshman year came around I was able to qualify for state and I won the newcomer of the year award. Even though I went 0-2 at state I had a really close match and I learned a new mentality of hard work. Since then I’ve been doing a lot of off-season work to better myself for next year. I have high hopes for next year.”
