“I started playing clarinet because we already had a clarinet. My sister started playing but gave up pretty soon after. I started in fifth grade and I already liked music because I played piano. I play in band, which is fun, and I don’t really go out much with the clarinet. I take lessons but don’t really do performances other then band ones. It’s helped me read my sheet music and gives me something to get involved with at school because if I did not take band, I wouldn’t be involved.”
