“I started out in the 4H shooting sports then we eventually migrated over to the high school and we pitched the idea of the club (Kansas High School Clay Target League) to the school board and then once we got it approved we worked hard and built a team up and practiced twice a week. We got better and better and we made the title of state champions. I started out six years ago and I found out I really enjoyed it so I practiced and practiced and practiced probably more than I should have. Then I kept working on it and eventually I worked my way up to state champion.”
