School not easy for busy students

School not easy for busy students

You may have heard of students’ late nights trying to make the grade, but have you heard about teachers tossing those same grades out to the people that never study? Students since being young children have been forced into the thought of making the grade could potentially get them into a better college. Some of the time that can be true, other times students may receive the grade they very well shouldn’t have.

This is the misconception that is given by today’s media. Starting rumors about the school system to try and dig dirt. In all reality, students today struggle in Baldwin. Some because of procrastination, others because of sports and other activities in and out of school.

In my experiences, major tests have been emphasized to be a large portion of the grade. So studying is an important aspect, then the night before is spent reviewing information to make sure that everything has been studied for the next day.

While some teachers may not care about the grade, and only care about actually teaching so students can remember and apply it to their life when needed. Another point to make is that some teachers know that some parts of a class won’t be applied as much as others may think they will.

Some classes may need a requirement for the pursued field. Such as, if in the medical field some basic foreign language would be a great use as people that don’t speak American English can still be permitted into hospitals’ and doctors may not be able to comprehend what is needed to know.

Teachers may hand out A’s, if they feel the need, although that does not mean it makes it right. Students need to learn how to work for something because of the commitment that they made at the start of the year to finish that class.
