Technology takes students away from what they’re supposed to do in school. Phones are the main distraction for teens. 95% of teens have a phone. On average a teen checks his phone 144 times a day 51 of those being in school.
I believe that Teens should leave their phones in their cars to avoid that distraction. Also if teens leave their phones they could focus on assignments in school and get better grades. I also believe that it would boost their mental health so they dont have to worry about the outside world and just focus on one thing at a time.
Back when phones were not allowed in school, grades were alot better. Teachers will appreciate it too. Kids wont be fighting back to get their phone and they wont have to worry about cheating. Thats why I beleive you should not allow phones in school.
