According to a tech integration specialist and a computer lab teacher Mary Beth Hertz, it’s important to remember that sometimes just because we have access to new technologies does not mean that older technologies won’t suffice. Too often we get so excited by the fancy gadgets that we have access to that we forget that sometimes a pencil and paper will suffice.

Children are increasingly finding it hard to hold pens and pencils because of an excessive use of technology, senior paediatric doctors have warned.

Many kids love technology because they don’t have to write anything down but when you write everything down you tend to remember it better.

Over surveying students from across 10 different countries the students have suggest pencil over technology.

Children are not coming into school with the hand strength and dexterity they had 10 years ago said, said Sally Payne.
