It is that time of year again at BHS when students are studying really hard to get the best grade they possibly can on their finals. Seniors get out of school May 12 while the juniors, sophomores and freshmen get out May 19.

The end of the school year is a great time of year where students get excited for summer break and seniors have mixed feelings about the end of their high school career, but the end of the year is not all fun and games. Finals are a large part of the end of the year and can have a major impact on students.

The final for most classes consists of a test that goes over all the material learned throughout the year. Some classes are considerably harder than others depending on the student. Finals make up a decent amount of the overall grade in classes and are very important to study for.

Depending on students grade in the class you are wanting to opt out of determines how many absences students are allowed to have.

Concluding the last final on Tuesday will be ipad check in for juniors, sophomores and freshmen. The finals schedule is posted on the USD 348 website along with the lunch schedule for finals week.
