The Baldwin High School class cup race was close but in the end the seniors ended up winning. The prize of winning this competition is the Urban air adventure park. The freshmen came in a close 2nd but after all could not end up beating out the seniors.
Seniors are very excited about winning this since it is their last year at Baldwin High School.
“I am so excited about us winning the trip because it has been quite a while I think since middle school since i’ve been on a trip,” senior Niella New said. “I am also excited that we won because I can hangout with my friends all together on final time.”
High school can be a rough time for many people but on the flip side many people enjoyed high school and all the opportunities it brought.
Many seniors have enjoyed their past years for many reasons, some being the people they have met, or the experience of going to basketball games and even cheering for them.
“My high school has been great I love BHS, cheer has been so fun while being at all the games with my friends that are on the cheer squad,” New said. ”I have had good relationships with many teachers and have formed bonds with all of them, although my favorite part has to have been cheering in the state tournament.”
Many of the seniors are very excited about going to Urban air not only for the park but also because they get to do something with their whole class one more time.
“I am very excited. I used to go there a lot when I was younger,” senior Jake Vanhorn said. “I am also glad that our entire class gets to do something together one last time.”
High School is not always that bad, sometimes it can teach you many things and help you make lifelong great friends.
“I have had a very good experience because of all of the lessons and friends I have made not only from school but also from the sports that I have played as well,” senior Gus Boyle said.
Some seniors are excited and some are sad with the graduation countdown being so low.
“I am stressed about graduation being so close because after high school I am going to need a way to get money on my own,” Boyle said. “But at the same time I am excited to be done with highschool and live on my own.”
Graduation is already so close with there being already less than 15 days remaining. The senior class will be missed by everyone in the school including teachers and students.
