This year at BHS, there was a football game dedicated to the military and veterans. During this night BHS honored active and inactive military members who are or who have served our nation.

“Personally, I think it is a welcomed addition to the BHS football program.” sophomore Zayne Nowak said. “I also think it is truly a good chance to honor those who have sacrificed and put their lives on the line for us and our country.”

Many people at BHS believe that the addition of military was a good choice. To be able to honor those who have sacrificed their lives to protect us and allow us to do the things we love freely, such as football in Nowaks case.

Since seeing how many people liked and appreciated military night it looks like it is here to stay.

Military night at BHS was also senior night for those few on the football team.

“I think it was really cool having senior night and military night on the same night, it was overall a really cool experience.” senior Josh Potter said.

Many players on the BHS football team have had or have family members serving in the United States armed forces.
