Sisters Cambria and Tavia Crowe work out every day after school in the weight room with the basketball team

Lots of students go work out after school to become better athletes. Several BHS coaches open the weight room each day for fall strength and conditions.

With basketball season approaching many basketball players are going to after school weights. They have to work hard to get into shape so basketball season goes well.

“Working hard helps me get in shape so I can do better during basketball season,” sophomore Cambria Crowe said.

They start at 3:30 p.m. and go until about 4:15 p.m.

“We work out Monday through Friday,” wrestling coach Kit Harris said.

Depending on the day they do either leg day or arm day or they can go on a run. These workouts give students very many benefits

“(Some benefits include) getting stronger, working hard, working their bodies in a different way,” Harris said.

Going to weights is a fun way to work out because you get to do it with your friends and have fun.

“It’s a fun way to work out with my friends,” sophomore Riley Coates said.

The coaches that supervise the kids are Harris and basketball coaches Eric Toot and Bob Martin
