FBLA marches for dimes

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) groups all across the country support, fundraise, and raise awareness for March of Dimes. The Baldwin High School FBLA club is one of the groups that helps support March of Dimes.

“March of Dimes is a non-profit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies, specifically prematurely born babies.” said junior Drew Villaca, Vice President of Community Service for the BHS FBLA club.

This year the BHS FBLA club is doing something different every month to support, fundraise, or raise awareness for March of Dimes. Their most recent took place last week in the cafeteria.

“Students came by and received a sticker for learning about March of Dimes and signed their names in support of it,” Villaca said.

Many other students, along with Villaca, in the FBLA club have signed up to help with the March of Dimes events.

“It is a noble cause,” Villaca said, “and we want to contribute.”
