New Bulldog Bulletin weekly newspaper hits the press
Digital Media Newspaper has come out with weekly newspaper to hand out to students at BHS.
Digital Media Newspaper is a class at BHS, taught by Kit Harris. This year of 2015-16 sophomore Kaydawn Bonecutter and the class decided to make a daily newspaper to inform the students of upcoming events. She has put a lot of work in this thinking this could be very helpful for students, teachers and even parents.
The newspaper was not just Bonecutter’s idea, but she enjoyed the idea of if.
“Mr. Harris asked if I wanted to do it” Bonecutter said. “I also thought it could be informative to entertaining.”
Using the newspaper is what the class wants the BHS students to do. It has good information on it.
“I definitely think these could be useful” Bonecutter said. “It has new or old information students and teachers would like to know. It also has the lunches for the week. On the newspaper we even put a section called what’s going on, that explains anything you need to know about upcoming games.”
Constructing a newspaper could not be the easiest project you have ever done. It was not that hard not it did take the time and effort.
Bonecutter said, “At first yes it was because I did construct stories that students wrote, a word search, and What’s For Lunch and many more. I had to make sure everything would fit and look organized on the paper. I had some help with the word search and how to format stories but I got the handle of it.”
This newspaper has been put together with hard work and dedication from these BHS students. They hope it is a good use for the students and not just a wasteful paper that nobody looks at.
“The newspaper helps me the most in a way that the lunches are on there” senior Adrianne Brown said. “I also liked that I figured out where the game was this week”
The weekly school newspaper is a new updating and handy paper for BHS. It could be very helpful and entertaining. Making the weekly newspaper could help the school community come more together.
