High school is a big place for new people and at times can seem a bit overwhelming.

“My freshman year is going good,” freshman Marissa Rickey said. “When I first came to the high school I noticed there is a lot more people and a bigger building and it was harder to navigate places.”

Freshmen seem to be easy adapting to their new school and love BHS. They’re determined to make it a good year.

“High school is a lot busier and goes by a lot faster, it definitely feels more mature than the junior high,” freshman Will Evans said.

The sophomores and upperclassmen are very welcoming to the new students and are glad they are here.

“Most of the current freshmen are talented in sports and academics, I am happy for the freshmen coming into high school and experiencing growing up,” sophomore Alexia Nelson said.

Teachers see new incoming freshmen every year and get to experience watching them grow up over the four years they’re in highschool. The teachers are always welcoming to the freshmen students are want them to feel accepted and do good in school.

“The freshmen class is doing pretty good and they’re working hard,“ teacher Don Blanchat said, “There is different levels and expectations than the junior high, my advice is become sophomores as fast as you can.”
