In the past few months it seems as if the cold won’t go away. When you walk outside, cold. When you start your car, cold. When you open the fridge, cold.

 Why is that?

Well, Science teacher Scott Crenshaw has an explanation of the situation “It’s so cold at BHS that molecular movement is slowing down and may stop if we reach absolute zero. Also, students are unable to maintain homeostasis in their own bodies, they do nothing but shiver trying to get some type of body warmth. BHS has become its own private polar vortex.”

As one of the smartest Science teachers in the world, it sounds as if the cold is not going away any time soon.

The iPads at BHS are also being affected by the cold.

 Junior Emmett Martin has a “sick” iPad. With the message saying “ICloud has the flu. Please restart your iPad.” This just shows that kids should keep their iPads as warm as possible. Some good ways to do this is to snuggle up with it in a blanket or sit down with it next to a fire.

If the cold has shown us anything, it is that summer needs to get here as fast as possible. Some weather forecasts report that summer will roughly start on Saturday, June 21. When this day hits we can all pack up our winter clothes and start hitting the beach.
