“Our Town” last show for three seniors

Senior’s last play of the year is coming up. Senior Sammie Wiess is on of the many seniors that will be performing here at BHS for the last time. The lead roles are Seniors Wiess, Stephanie Peterson and Ben Foster.

The play is “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder. The cast is eighteen people seven of them are guys. The spring play will held at the PAC, April 19-20 at 7 pm.

Leaving the floor of the theater here will be different.

“I’m definitely sad that this is my last show at Baldwin,” Wiess said. “I’ll miss everyone here. The cast, crew and directors have been so wonderful throughout the years. However, I am excited for college theatre. I think it is going to be such a fun and new experience and I can’t wait.”

English Teacher Catherine Lewis has wanted to perform this play for a while.

“This is a classic play with universal emotions and events,” Lewis said. “I’ve wanted to do it for a couple of years and I felt that this was the right group.”

Everyone wants the seniors last play to go well.

“The cast works really well together and are dedicated to making this play enjoyable for everyone,” junior Katie Vajnar said. “We hope that our performance of “Our Town” will make you feel at home.”
