What competitive group can press red buttons faster than anyone? The answer to that would have to be the Scholars Bowl team.

The team has started their season in Spring Hill. Unfortunately, they did not rank in the top three.

“Although we didn’t have the best result, we are working hard for future meets,” sophomore Harrison Feldt said.
Scholars Bowl is not usually in the spotlight like other activities such as football, basketball, etc. Many may not know how competitions work.

“It’s basically Trivial Pursuit,” Feldt said. “There are multiple subjects such as Math, History, English, Fine Arts and Miscellaneous. It is round robin tournament style competition where two schools compete against each other in a classroom.”

The team’s next competition is in Wellsville at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.
