Summer Driver’s Ed plans being prepared

Driver’s Education is coming soon for BHS students. Teacher Mike Curran will be teaching classes in the BHS cafeteria. Starting on Wednesday, May 30, until Tuesday, June 26, classes will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. every week day. Every other day students will be driving for practice. To attend Driver’s Ed, a payment of $200 is required. Each test given is a grade for the student.

“In the classes you learn road rules, driving-etiquette, and general operating for cars just to sum it up,” Curran said.

In the state of Kansas, someone under the age of 16 can not get a restricted license and nobody under age 17 can have a permit without passing a driver’s education class.

“Driver’s Ed is a good way for people to learn good driving habits from experienced teachers,” sophomore Hannah Messenger said.

These teachers are very reliable people to learn from and make things very clear so it is understandable. All students attending will be under great knowledge so they can be on their way to a safe and successful drive.
