“I first started getting into tennis when I was around 10 or 11 years old because my cousin played
tennis. Before high school, I played volleyball but after middle school, I started playing tennis. In
the summer of 2016 my friend Jordan and I went to our first tennis camp and ever since then we
couldn’t put down our rackets. This school year Jordan and I played doubles with each other and
we did pretty well. Our last BIT tournament here at Baldwin, Jordan and I got 3rd place which
wasn’t too shabby. I’ve been doing tennis camps every summer and sometimes I even go
outside and hit back and forth on my garage. My dad and I sometimes will go to the Baker tennis
courts and have a match, he usually wins. I think tennis is a fun sport to play because you get to
go outside and stay active. I love playing tennis and can’t wait to continue through high school.”
