“I started playing soccer when I was around 11 years old. I first got into it because I used to watch the Philadelphia soccer team with my dad and we would go to their game. Watching them play would excite me and make me motivated to play how they play. I like soccer because it’s super fast and competitive. There’s always something happening, and I like the challenge of trying to outplay people.I play wing forward, and I like it because I can score goals and I always have a chance to take the ball away from someone. I love that my team can be serious when we need to be, but we also joke around a lot. It makes practices and games way more fun. My favorite part of playing in games is probably the adrenaline. Nothing really beats the feeling of a close game or when your team scores. My advice for the underclassmen playing soccer is don’t be scared to mess up. Everyone makes mistakes, but that’s how you get better. Also, actually try at practice, it makes a big difference.”
