Rylee Bentley is a senior at BHS that is moving to the next step. She plans to attend Allen County Community College to continue her softball career this upcoming fall.
“I chose Allen County because it is the closest to home, it is small which reminds me a lot of Baldwin’s community and I thought I would have a lot more opportunities.” Senior Rylee Bentley said.
Bentley has played basketball, volleyball and softball here at BHS but softball has made a big impact in her life.
“All sports have taught me different lessons about life, Bentley said.”Softball has made the biggest impact in my life. It has not only taught me lessons throughout the sport but also life long lessons which has shaped me into the person I am today.”
Bentley has been taught by a lot of teacher at BHS but one has made a big difference in her school career.
“Cullin’s made the biggest impact on my life,” Bentley said. I only had him for a semester but before I had him he was always there if I needed someone to talk to and to get real advice from.”
While Bentley is senior now she looks back at her freshman self and wishes she had some advice to look off of.
“The biggest advice I would give my freshman self is, enjoy every moments because it goes by quick, and it is okay not to fit in, “Bentley said. “Find yourself a couple of friends and let them be your light and brightness in life.”
