Malin Harris is a senior at BHS that is moving on to the next step. She is planning to attend Baker University this fall, as well as cheering on the Baker University Cheer team.
“I chose Baker because I have grown up in Baldwin my whole life. While I did look at other schools, Baker has just always felt like home,” Harris said.
Harris plans on going to school to become a special education teacher.
“I am majoring in Elementary education, then I want to get a masters in special education and become a special education teacher,” Harris said.
She will also be continuing her cheerleading career on the Baker Cheer team. Harris has been cheering since seventh grade.
“I am cheering in college, and I’m really excited to be a part of something that has grown so much these past few years and be a part of something big,” Harris said. “The team and the coaches have been so nice so far.”
“I will miss seeing my dad every single day at school, and all the teachers that have taught me so much,” Harris said.
