Junior AJ Messick started his singing career freshman year, Messick has liked music since he was young and his biggest inspiration has been his friend from Utah, and Lucas Hafer.
“I have always loved music but I think my biggest inspiration is one of my friends from Utah and Lucas Hafer,” Messick said.
He has had many challenges but the challenge he is still trying to get over and accomplish more is not caring what people think.
“Well I’m still not over it completely but I’m not caring about how people think because I’m my person and I can be whoever I want to be,” Messick said.
Messick’s main goal is to make people happy with the gift he has.
“My overall goal is to make music a part of his job and hopefully to help others,” Messick said. “He also wants to use his gift for good,” Messick said.
Messick said being yourself is the best way to start a music career.
“Just do it,” Messick said, “Don’t worry about what other people think, and just be yourself.”
