Graphic design is a very diverse career, this is the career Hannah Webb plans on going into.

“I wanted to do graphic design because of how versatile it is,” Webb said. “You can work with a company or do freelance work from home in an office or across the country.”

Webb is going to Johnson County Community College. In addition to the graphic design program this school has a really good culinary program.

“Culinary is a hobby of mine and something I want to work on in college,” Webb said. “Johnson County will work well for me because I can work on my hobby and the career I want to go into.”

Webb likes culinary arts and graphic design but she would love to do both of these while studying abroad.

“Something I want to do in college but might just be a dream is to study abroad,” Webb said. “Studying culinary in France or Japan would be really cool and I would love to learn about the culture in those areas.”

Webb also was very involved in high school clubs.

“I have been in Dungeons and Dragons for all four years,” Webb said. “I have also been in Anime club for all four years and Gay-Straight Alliance club all four years.”

Webb is the president of the Dungeons and Dragons club and the Vice president of the Anime and Gay-Straight Alliance club.

That’s not the only thing Webb does though she is also in the school plays every year since her freshman year.

Hannah has been doing Spring Plays for years, but I got the joy of working with her recently on the Fall Musical for the first time! She played Martha, the hip-hop brainiac in High School Musical, and did an absolutely wonderful job developing that character. To say she had a fan club after that would be an understatement. My elementary students kept talking about the Martha character and how much they loved her in the show,” Musical Director Katrina Jacobsen said. “Hannah is a talented musician and friend to all. She knows how to build people up, she knows how to lead, and she knows how to make people feel heard and respected.”

“This year for the school play we are doing the biggest production yet called She Kills Monsters,” Webb said.

Webb is one of the lead roles in this upcoming play.

“I wish people would know as a freshman and sophomore you make a bigger deal out of things than you need to and by the time you are senior you will have changed a ton and even after high school you will still be discovering yourself just trust the process and things will get better,” Webb said.
