“My experience in Baldwin is pretty interesting. I would kind of describe it as a rollercoaster ride. In the early years I was not a great student, failed several classes and wasn’t really fully involved in sports and by the time I got to highschool I really started locking in. I made a really good relationship with a couple of my coaches, Coach Harris and Coach Berg. They kind of helped me realize how much Baldwin had to offer and how much the community had to offer and how much I had to offer to sports myself. Made a commitment mostly to sports and academics. I was really involved in pretty much everything I could be. Did a sport every season and it really just helped me better appreciate how much Baldwin had to offer. Coach Harris is one person that really helped me appreciate the culture we have here in Baldwin. One of those things being, just take pride in being Baldwin built. So then after I finished college I had the opportunity to come back here and coach. I couldn’t think of anything I wanted to do more.  I had several opportunities to teach in a lot of different areas and different parts of the state and some other miscellaneous college coaching opportunities but I knew I wanted to be back in this community coaching. Trying to help kids that were like myself when I was at Baldwin that maybe weren’t the best students. Had a chance to represent Baldwin well.”
