“We got our bees in May of 2022 and they are all honey bees. We have two hives full of bees with two queen bees. The most annoying thing about our bees is that you have to put a lot of work into taking care of them. For example, me and my mom take care of the bees and during the winter we have to give them sugar water since all of the flowers are dead. Me and my mom also have to make sure that the queen bee is producing babies, we actually had one that didn’t and we had to get rid of her. The bees have also stung me through the suits that we have to wear around them. The thing that I like the most about our bees is the honey that we harvest from them. This past year we harvested 15 pounds of honey from the bees. Even with the large amount of honey we won’t ever sell the honey cause we like to eat it ourselves.”
