“The band never had a name. I was in a few in high school, one in my younger years in college and then I just started playing with some guys. We don’t really get together much anymore. I’ve been playing on and off since 2007 or something. Our original bass player got arrested so I just had to start playing it. I played guitar before that, I just had to pick up the bass. We just write our own songs, I don’t know, they’re all good. I’m fine with either the guitar or bass guitar, I’ve just gotten used to the bass. My older brother was a big metalhead when I was a kid and I just got into it at a young age and that’s always been the standard. I met the members through other friends, like hanging out with friends of friends then realized we all like the same music. Me liking metal has to do with it being rebellious music when I was younger. Not that I do much rebelling anymore. Something to do with the expression of being angry or frustrated.”
