Most teenagers go to college to become a doctor or teacher but Gabi McBride BHS senior decided to go to college to become a Game Warden.

“I have always had a passion for the outdoors and really enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as having a passion for criminal justice,” McBride said.

McBride will be attending Missouri State University and majoring in Wildlife Conservation while also minoring in criminal justice.

“I am interested in this career because I love being outside, and I love hunting and fishing. I feel this career suits me best,” McBride said.

McBride has been fishing and hunting since she was a little girl. She has always enjoyed being outside, so she decided to make it her career.

“My dad taught me how to hunt and fish when I was growing up so I thank him for my love for the wilderness,” McBride said.

Her father taught her the ropes of her career at a young age without even realizing.
